Traditionally, in China, new developments are quickly folded into the public domain, making it tough for enterprise-software and AI gamers to understand a return on their large financial investment. In our experience, patent laws that secure copyright can increase financiers' self-confidence and attract more investment in this area.
AI has the potential to improve crucial sectors in China. However, amongst service domains in these sectors with the most important usage cases, there is no low-hanging fruit where AI can be carried out with little extra investment. Rather, our research discovers that unlocking optimal capacity of this opportunity will be possible just with tactical investments and developments across several dimensions-with information, talent, technology, and market partnership being foremost. Interacting, business, AI players, and government can address these conditions and enable China to catch the complete worth at stake.
